My recent affinity for writing blog posts has lead to many a revelation.
I treat my blog similar to my Instagram Stories. They’re a great way to keep people updated with new content and behind the scenes titbits that still remain separate from the portfolio that my website and Instagram feed have become.
I’ve really been enjoying flexing my creative writing muscles again, something that I thought was long buried after leaving my Arts degree to pursue photography. I’ve always enjoyed writing — see my HECS debt as proof of that — and it’s a beautiful thing being able to note down a stream of consciousness about the things I get up to now running my own business every day.
It may seem ordinary to me, but I’ve found many people describe my profession as “exotic” and “exciting”. And while there is definitely truth in that, I can take that forgranted at times at is has become my norm. Something I am so very grateful for.
So, in an attempt to share some ‘exoticness’, what follows are a few of my favourite images from a location scouting session for an upcoming wedding on a splendidly sunny day in Glenelg, South Australia.
Follow along with more of my musings here.
