I met the sweet Tash of Wild Oat Natural Health at Cosmic Yoga Studio in West Lakes. This is the space she teaches classes and consults with her clients from on holistic health practices. Tash is passionate about approaching health issues with a holistic mindset paired with modern health.
Holistic health entails perceiving individuals as interconnected beings, where physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual facets harmonise for optimal well-being. It’s not just about alleviating symptoms but comprehending their root causes. This approach combines conventional medicine with complementary therapies, emphasising lifestyle choices like nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Preventative measures and self-care are paramount. Collaboration with various health practitioners fosters a balanced, thriving state. This collaborative mindset is also how I like to approach my branding photoshoots.
With a plethora of props, outfit options and natural light radiating into the studio from the calm John Dyer Lake we got shooting.
We didn’t overthink things too much here. We had a play around with props and poses and went with what worked and felt right for Tash’s holistic health brand.
This shoot was truly a beautiful play date. I couldn’t be happier to see Tash utilising the images from our lifestyle photography session.
I always emphasise that working with a business owner and humanising their brand is always a holistic collaboration between the both of us. This means going beyond mere image capture; it’s about comprehending the brand’s essence and vision, and infusing it with a genuine, human touch. This approach yields imagery that not only boasts visual appeal but also strikes a chord with their target audience on a deep level.
